Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype and scale emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, neurotech) and assess commercial viability
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry leaders for co-innovation initiatives
- Present innovation frameworks and progress to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio success, balancing technical feasibility and market adoption
- Champion ethical tech governance frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology)
- Exceptional strategic planning and systems thinking abilities
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M
- Strong stakeholder management with executive/board presentation experience
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, ICP) or relevant domain expertise
