Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum AI, biotech convergence, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate R&D cycles
- Translate market trends into actionable product roadmaps with 5-year impact forecasting
- Drive adoption of futuristic technologies through internal skunkworks initiatives and customer pilots
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and market disruption potential
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed scenarios
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped products with exponential growth curves (>100% YoY)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Published research or patents in peer-reviewed journals on technology convergence
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and market modeling platforms
