- Lead end-to-end innovation projects from ideation to market launch
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product, research) in rapid prototyping cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AGI)
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through compelling business cases
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI and sustainable technology deployment
- Present innovation progress and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Drive thought leadership through industry whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or strategic planning with 5+ years in leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining products/services
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Deep understanding of Web4.0, climate tech, and human-AI collaboration paradigms
- Experience securing venture capital or corporate innovation funding >$10M
- Strong network in Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
