Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-forward concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and change management
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior innovators and build high-performing R&D teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven future-tech impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI ethics, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Track record of launching scalable innovations from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in agile/lean methodologies (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future-tech publications
