Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-focused prototypes in quantum computing and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Drive commercialization of emerging technologies through agile development cycles
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Identify and mitigate ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Mentor junior researchers through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or synthetic biology)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ commercialized innovations
- Proven track record securing $10M+ in government grants or VC funding
- Expertise in technology lifecycle management from lab to market
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong background in technology ethics and regulatory compliance
- Experience with global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, EU, Asia)
