Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with market-transforming potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts and MVPs for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate emerging trends and competitive threats in the 2025-2030 timeframe
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate R&D cycles
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members, securing funding and buy-in
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with demonstrable impact on market-shifting initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or generative AI ethics
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from ideation to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful innovation projects launched within the last 5 years
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (e.g., from Foresight Practitioner Program)
