Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives on emerging tech opportunities
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI Lab on cutting-edge research initiatives
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption timelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in Singularity University frameworks and exponential technology trends
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Published research in IEEE Spectrum or Nature Futures journal
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA technology development programs
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio of 2020-2025 technology predictions with >75% accuracy rate
