Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces) into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs (MIT Media Lab, Future Institute) to pioneer experimental initiatives
- Mentor innovation teams in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Engineering, or Technology Strategy with 8+ years of applied foresight experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Scenario Planning, Technology Readiness Levels)
- Exceptional command of data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend analysis platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or patented innovation strategies
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., University of Houston) or equivalent professional credential
