Responsibilities
- Forecast technological trajectories through 2030 using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing adoption and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops with MIT and Stanford research partners
- Advise C-suite on emerging risks/opportunities in biotech and climate engineering
- Author whitepapers published in Nature Futures journal
- Curate annual '2026 Vision' conference with industry thought leaders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 impact
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Security clearance for classified national innovation projects
- Fluency in at least two technical programming languages
