Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop data-driven strategic frameworks using machine learning and predictive analytics
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario planning documents for stakeholder audiences
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurist networks and innovation partners
- Quantify future market opportunities and risk mitigation pathways
- Champion innovation culture through thought leadership and internal advocacy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendscope)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or APF)
- Experience with emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
