Responsibilities

- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-proofing initiatives
- Represent company at global futurist forums and policy summits
- Build and manage a network of domain experts across emerging fields
- Translate complex futures data into executive dashboards and presentations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures analyses or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures narratives
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
