Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic trends, and global megatrends to forecast 2026+ landscape shifts
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario plans for organizational adaptation to future disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations for C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability domains
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications, conferences, and media engagements
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at tech-forward organizations
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects or published thought leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFP) strongly preferred
