- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Present executive-level briefings on future implications and strategic pivots
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging futures
- Guide product development teams in incorporating future-facing design principles
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic foresight projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) preferred
