Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks to guide executive decision-making and R&D priorities
- Design scenario planning models for high-uncertainty environments (climate tech, AI ethics, geopolitical volatility)
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Author forward-looking thought leadership content and stakeholder presentations
- Build and lead a global network of futurist practitioners and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, sustainable infrastructure, or space commercialization
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Track record of influencing enterprise-level strategy through data-driven futurism
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) highly desirable
