Responsibilities

- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test future business models
- Conduct deep-dive trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable innovation pipelines and investment theses
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global futurist conferences
- Build cross-functional partnerships with R&D, product, and policy teams to embed foresight
- Mentor junior strategists in futures literacy and speculative design frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects for Fortune 500 clients or government agencies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with futures simulation tools and data-driven forecasting platforms
