Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Produce actionable scenario-planning reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to align innovation roadmaps with market evolution projections
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced trend analysis methodologies
- Develop KPIs to track strategic initiative effectiveness against future-state targets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
