Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop long-term strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable innovation paradigms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and prioritize R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers establishing industry thought leadership
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor emerging technologies (Web4, biotech convergence, autonomous systems) for competitive advantage
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research at Fortune 500 level
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals preferred
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) a plus
