Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 technology adoption curves
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and mitigate systemic risks in emerging tech ecosystems
- Produce actionable scenario analyses for disruptive technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into core development cycles
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring societal impact of 2026 technological transitions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and ethical foresight practices
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent expertise in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Complex Systems
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology roadmapping
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (STELLA, AnyLogic, causal loop mapping)
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite strategy with long-term vision
- Fluency in data visualization for complex systems (Tableau, D3.js, or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future scenario implementations with measurable outcomes
