Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Lead scenario planning for societal and industrial disruptions by 2026
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Author white papers on exponential technologies for industry summits
- Manage innovation sprints with DARPA and NASA collaboration teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness across sectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- 7+ years in strategic innovation consulting or corporate R&D leadership
- Published research in exponential technologies or disruptive innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, AGI ethics, or climate engineering
- Experience with Delphi methodology and scenario modeling frameworks
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Security clearance for government technology partnerships (preferred)
