Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology horizon scanning framework identifying disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping emerging trends to product roadmaps
- Produce quarterly future-state briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype concepts with 5-10 year market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author white papers on societal implications of emerging technologies
- Manage a $2M innovation incubator fund for 2026-viable ventures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful long-term innovation initiatives
