Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive ethical technology frameworks and sustainability initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in developing long-term tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI, quantum, biotech, or decentralized systems)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to C-suite and external partners
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field required
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
