Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts by 2026
- Develop sophisticated scenario models and strategic foresight frameworks to guide long-term business planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product innovation cycles
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging market disruptors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future projections into actionable strategic recommendations for C-level executives
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological megatrends reshaping 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing future scenario models that influenced organizational strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-strategy projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution) preferred
