Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities in quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Author quarterly foresight reports for executive stakeholders and industry publications
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-use-case scenarios in our innovation lab
- Mentor junior futurists on predictive modeling methodologies
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of published trend forecasts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS preferred)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
