Responsibilities
- Forecast socioeconomic, technological, and environmental shifts impacting 2026 landscape
- Develop scenario models for emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align strategic initiatives with future trends
- Produce quarterly horizon-scanning reports with actionable recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing solutions
- Present strategic foresight to investors and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS)
- Published thought leadership on future trends
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
