Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ technological landscape, identifying disruptive trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Develop and present quarterly future-state scenarios to executive leadership and board of directors
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into 5-year innovation roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs at MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of post-2025 technologies
- Design and implement corporate foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotechnology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals (e.g., MIT Tech Review, HBR)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and causal layered analysis
