Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable future-state blueprints
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on emerging technological and societal disruptors
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning quantum, AI, and biotech capabilities with market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused think tanks
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Mentor junior futurists while building our internal future intelligence capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) and societal trends
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating future concepts
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures work or strategic foresight projects
- Thrives in ambiguity and demonstrates intellectual curiosity across disciplines
