Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, societal, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Mentor product teams on integrating emerging technologies into roadmaps
- Author white papers on sustainable tech innovations and workforce evolution
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech or business innovation (e.g., MIT Sloan, Harvard Business Review)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle, or Palantir Metis
