Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce executive-level futures reports and trend briefings for board presentations
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation pipelines aligned with emerging megatrends
- Establish early-warning systems for paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, and space tech
- Represent InnovateX at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating futures insights into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends
