Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Produce quarterly trend reports and white papers on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Design and maintain a '2026 Innovation Dashboard' with KPIs for future-readiness
- Present future scenarios to board members and external partners at industry summits
- Manage a $5M innovation incubator fund for prototyping 2026-ready solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies with published thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three successful future-shaping initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Global perspective with experience in diverse cultural and regulatory environments
