Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Translate foresight into actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive futures and competitive advantage
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments impacting long-term innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for complex narrative-building
- Experience in high-growth tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM) preferred
