This senior role demands a blend of analytical rigor, creative foresight, and executive leadership to shape our organization's roadmap for the next innovation cycle.
As a key member of our Future Intelligence division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and global thought leaders to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities. Your insights will directly influence product development, market positioning, and strategic investments in exponential technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory landscapes, and behavioral shifts to forecast 2026 market conditions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce annual 'Future State Reports' with actionable strategic recommendations
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups, technologies, and partnership opportunities
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future intelligence capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, APF)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or global tech organizations
