Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for AI governance, biotech integration, and climate-tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers for industry conferences and investor relations
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and scout emerging startups in exponential tech
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and policy discussions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption cycles with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI systems
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive boards and government technology councils
- Portfolio of published futurism research or industry trend analysis
