Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable milestones
- Present executive briefings on emerging threats/opportunities with data-driven scenarios
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with future market needs
- Establish cross-functional future councils to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Drive scenario planning for geopolitical, economic, and technological wildcards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, CFP) preferred
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or strategic frameworks
