Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry transformations post-2025
- Develop scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-viability of experimental initiatives
- Author thought leadership reports for executive decision-making and public discourse
- Establish KPI frameworks to track adoption trajectories of emerging paradigms
- Represent company at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi technique, STEEP analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures compellingly
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and academic collaborators
