Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends relevant to 2026's technological landscape
- Produce high-impact strategic foresight reports for executive leadership and product development teams
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs specializing in 2026-relevant domains
- Design and deliver scenario-planning workshops for senior stakeholders
- Author thought leadership content positioning the company as a 2026 innovation authority
- Maintain a real-time intelligence dashboard tracking global developments in future-critical sectors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-suite decision-making
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Experience building and managing global networks of innovation experts
