Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmaps for 2026-era technologies including quantum-AI hybrids and neuro-interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our quantum simulation labs
- Develop patent portfolios protecting novel applications of converging tech domains
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams in exponential technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/bio)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary innovation teams
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
