Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces shaping 2026+ markets
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Champion emerging technologies through proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state possibilities
- Produce annual Future State Reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for technology scouting
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-geographic innovation teams in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
