Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing business operations and product development
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on disruptive futures
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Author thought leadership publications and trend reports
- Integrate future intelligence into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-oriented thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts and driving adoption of emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning abilities
- Published author or recognized speaker on future trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-oriented initiatives
