Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends through horizon scanning, scenario planning, and competitive intelligence
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive solutions in emerging domains
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks and future-vision briefings to executive stakeholders
- Drive commercialization of breakthrough technologies through pilot programs and MVP launches
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab focused on next-generation capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven impact on future-tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or advanced materials
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations with >$10M revenue impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to connect disparate technologies into cohesive visions
- Experience building and leading diverse innovation teams across global organizations
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
