Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026 and beyond
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 'Future State' roadmap mapping technological, economic, and social evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into innovation opportunities and strategic priorities
- Deliver executive-level briefings on future trends and their strategic implications for business operations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership content including white papers, industry reports, and keynote presentations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, innovation labs, and futurist communities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis methodologies, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience advising executive leadership on long-term strategic positioning
