Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, forecasting technological inflection points and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' incubating breakthrough solutions in quantum-AI convergence and climate tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and emerging tech startups
- Present future scenarios to the board and executive stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
- Oversee the annual Horizon Scan initiative, identifying 50+ emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI frameworks)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented initiatives with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional narrative communication skills for translating complex futures into compelling stakeholder visions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent professional credential
