Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and assess commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technological adoption
- Drive internal culture of innovation through hackathons and incubation programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AR/VR
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (whitepapers, patents)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, PhD, or equivalent experience)
- Global network of technology innovators and researchers
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or incubators
