Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations across quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Lead interdisciplinary R&D teams through rapid prototyping cycles and MVP validation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovation units
- Translate complex scientific concepts into commercially viable product blueprints
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar innovation grants and venture capital
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and regulatory compliance strategies
- Pioneer open-source initiatives to accelerate industry-wide innovation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with proven track record of scaling emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI governance
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to C-suite and technical audiences
- Portfolio of launched products or research initiatives with measurable impact
