Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-digital convergence)
- Translate technical concepts into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Manage portfolio of 10+ future-tech incubation projects with $5M+ budgets
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching next-gen products (AI/quantum/sustainability focus)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends (Moore's Law 2.0)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Certification in Emerging Technology Assessment (ETA) preferred
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java/C++)
