Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems launching in 2026-2028
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with C-suite executives and engineering leads
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for generative AI models
- Partner with policy teams to shape national AI regulatory standards
- Design transparency protocols for high-stakes AI decision-making systems
- Mentor junior ethics specialists in emerging AI accountability methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance or responsible technology leadership
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI safety frameworks
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF standards
- Experience with autonomous vehicle or healthcare AI ethics boards
- Proven ability to translate technical risks into business strategy
- Strong background in cross-cultural ethical frameworks
