Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare staff
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms and equipment
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift and move patients (if required)
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
