Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients during weekend shifts
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, medication administration, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Support family education and communication
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification or equivalent medical background
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or geriatric settings
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and holidays
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
