Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks using various material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package items, apply labels, and ensure orders are ready for dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of punctual attendance.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
