Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, verify, and organize stock to maintain optimal warehouse organization.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items for shipment, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills in English.
