Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight using various material handling equipment and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, sort, and organize stock to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts (reach truck, sit-down forklift) and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and organization in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
